My Doctor’s Apt and Stuff
I went to my OB yesterday and got the BEST news! Remember they were expecting me to be on bedrest the rest of the pregnancy and I’ve got 13 more weeks left, I’ve been on bedrest since 23 weeks.
My blood pressure was perfect: 120/72. And I was officially taken off bedrest. She told me she still wants me to do frequent periods of rest, don’t stand for long times, don’t start marathon running, that kind of thing, but I am not stuck in the house ALL the time. YEAH! I was so happy. I feel like I’m free!
Also, miss thang is measuring quite a bit bigger than my due date (Dec 23). So, October 4th I have another ultrasound scheduled to check the date. I just think she is big, because I had 2 ultrasounds before that were only 1 day off of my due date (Dec 22 was the day the ultrasound said). I doubt it’s going to change, but I really wouldn’t mind if it was a little bit earlier. LOL
All in all, wonderful appointment! I couldn’t ask for anything better!
And the other stuff.
The day before yesterday, I was getting dressed, and I heard my front door slam. I came out here and Jordan was in shock. He opened the little door and some little boy punched him in the face. Then the 3 boys together took off running. Oh, I was mad. I went outside and confronted 2 of them who all said the other one did it, and that he didn’t punch Jordan in the face, he punched him in the stomach. DOES IT MATTER????? Jordan said that K didn’t do it that T did it. That the boys were lying. So, I called the office, and was able to talk to both moms. T was marched down to my house yesterday to apologize. He doesn’t know why he did it, he just did it. Yes, Jordan is his friend. I said, Jordan isn’t going to want to be friends with someone who hurts him. He needs to be nice to Jordan if he wants to be friends. GRRRRR! What would make a kid do that? Jordan was in the house minding his own business, and boom, he gets punched? I have a feeling it was over Yu Gi Oh cards, and Jordan wasn’t playing because he had to go to soccer, and the other boys wanted to trade cards, I don’t know.
And one more exciting thing. I went to my chiropractor yesterday, and said to the kids, I left my phone at home. Which always drives me nuts. I went to the bathroom, and stood up, and my phone flipped out of my back pocket into the toilet. GROSS! I fished it out and of course it didn’t work. I took it apart and left it in front of my fan last night, and it worked this morning thank goodness, but still nasty. LOL That would have been my 3rd phone that died from liquid. My first one, we were on the way back from my grandpa’s funeral in Alabama, and I had it on the dash, and it flipped off into my mom’s pop. My second one, flipped off the dash again and into —- my mom’s pop when she was driving me to the hospital. Ok, so I learned no more phone on the dash. Then I drop this one into the toilet. Pato was not happy with me. LOL Oh well, at least it works.
